The Germans are clearly paranoid about the risk of hostilities breaking out across the bedrooms of its towns and cities. Apparently our German friends have decided to label pillows as “passive weapons”.
Then again, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, the definition of “passive” is not acting to influence or change a situation; allowing other people to be in control.
